Book The Bed is an online travel agency. We let you search and book hotels, flights, and flight-plus-hotel bundles — over 2 million properties across 190 countries — with instant confirmation on most hotel bookings and free-cancellation options on many rates.
What we actually are
We are a booking agent, not a hotel chain and not an airline. The rooms and seats belong to independent suppliers — hotels, airlines and their consolidators — and we reach them through established travel-technology partners. When you book, your contract for the stay or the flight is with that supplier, on their rate or fare rules.
That distinction is not fine print. It decides who can change your booking, who holds your money, and what a refund depends on. We set it out in full in our terms and cancellation policy.
How we make money
We earn a margin on the rates we sell. The price you see on the rate is the price you pay — taxes and fees are shown before you reach the payment step, not added afterwards.
Cancellation rules, before you pay
Every rate carries its own cancellation terms, and we show them on the rate itself rather than burying them behind the booking. Some rates are free to cancel until a stated date; some are non-refundable from the moment you book. You should be able to see which one you are buying before you spend anything.

What we will not do
We do not publish review scores, ratings or traveller counts that we cannot evidence, and we do not put numbers on this site that we have not checked. If you find a claim here you think is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
